The program topic was U.S. sanctions on Iran’s civilian aviation industry and the impact of the Gevena P5+1 negotiation with Iran over that country’s nuclear program. Mr. Alavi was a co-panelist with The Honorable Bijan Kian (former head of the U.S. ExIm Bank) and Captain Ali Foroughi, a retired United Airlines pilot and aviation consultant.
