Kristen Xiao

Kristen Xiao supports the firm’s international trade practice, with a focus on sanctions, export controls, and customs compliance and enforcement, as well as white collar investigations, and civil litigation-related matters. This includes providing legal research and due diligence support through specialized intelligence platforms including LSEG World-Check One. Her work involves data gathering and analysis on government regulation, enforcement, and related patterns, assisting the firm in knowledge management.

Prior to joining Akrivis, Ms. Xiao gained legal and trade policy experience as an intern at the Cato Institute’s Center for Trade Policy Studies.  She also participated in a Georgetown University-led World Trade Organization (WTO) legal clinic working with the Office of U.S. Trade Representative (USTR).
